Way back in 1974 a group of Aviemore locals with a passion for adventure, a thirst for craziness and an urge to have a lot of fun, built a ramp into the River Spey and challenged one another to launch themselves into the water in any way possible. Thirty seven years later we're still doing the same thing - only now it's a full-scale event called the big splash.
